Transfer graduation and retention rates remain steady

After gaining access to the facts and statistics online, I've observed that graduation and retention rates among transfer students at Slippery Rock University remained steady between the years of 2009 and 2017.

Out of a total of 7,538 undergraduate students enrolled both full- and part-time at SRU, only 548 are transfer students.

After analyzing the data found online, it's easy to see that a majority of transfer students continued their education at SRU until graduation (I'm one of them).

Very few students graduated in one year; if they did, it's likely that transferred to SRU their senior year of college. Every year, a large majority of transfer students continued to their second year and beyond at SRU and graduated within four years.

The only area of concern is that a large percentage of students in the 2009 and 2010 cohort years took up to eight years to graduate (the reason is unknown to me) even though the average undergrad student graduates between four and six years. It's unclear to me if these numbers include students who went on to earn a master's degree at SRU as well, and that's why they continued at SRU for so many years.
