During fall break, I attended Franklin's 37th annual Applefest celebration. The event spans three days, the first weekend of October, and offers a wide variety of fun things to do! All three days, vendors and food stands line the sidewalks of Fountain and Bandstand Parks while local musicians perform. A farmers' market span the streets between Fountain Park and the Venango County Courthouse.
